HOW YOU CAN

SUPPORT US

The Ottawa Regional Youth Choir is a choir giving young people ages 15 through 25 an opportunity to strive for choral excellence. As a registered charity (# 11907 1827 RR0001) any donation above $25 will receive a charitable tax receipt.

Whether it be through coming to experience our performances, volunteering your time, supporting a fundraiser, making a financial donation, or a mix of these, all your support is critical.

We ask that you take a moment to consider contributing to help us to continue providing our community’s young musicians with the professional experience of working regularly with world-class artists.

Volunteer

As with any organization, it not only takes money, but it also takes people to support activities throughout the year. We know that time is valuable, and we would sincerely appreciate any  you would be willing to share. You may be interested in helping out year-round in ongoing activities like: becoming a board Member, organizational planning, website and social media, grant writing, or marketing. Or for a one-time event or activity such as: concert usher, stagehand, box office assistant, plan or assist in fundraising, photograph an event, etc. There is a position for everyone, and your assistance is certainly not limited to those listed.

Some of our largest seasonal program expenses include The Inclusion Fund (to assist choristers with membership costs), Music Retreat, Hiring of Musicians to work with us, Concert Production and the purchase of new Music for our performances.

We recognize that some of our supporters would like to contribute to these specific events, activities or expenses that we have throughout the season so we have identified some options that we have been asked about in the past.

Whether through general Donations, which help out with everything we do, or one of these targeted contributions, all of your assistance helps keep us able to support our young musicians with their dedication to choral education and performance.
