We begin in the shadows with the deep sonorities and spiritual intensity of Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil (Vespers). From there\, the music gradually opens into the luminous optimism of Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass. Together\, these works trace a path from contemplation to renewal\, ending in a message of hope and light.
